“أَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِم ۗ مَّا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى ۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِلِقَآئِ رَبِّهِمْ لَكَـٰفِرُونَ
Have they not reflected upon their own being? Allah did not create the heavens and earth and everything between them without a serious purpose and an appointed time. Yet most people are truly in denial of the meeting with their Lord!”

This retreat is open to young adults between the ages 18-35.
All food, drinks, refreshments, texts, materials, and art supplies will be provided by Hibr Institute.
Transportation will not be provided.

Serenity Retreat Itinerary

Day 1
Sunday, April 19th, 2026.
A special Arabic Calligraphy workshop led by our very own talented Shaykh Dr. AbdurRahman Isbieh.
A gourmet charcuterie and drinks will be provided for all to enjoy and connect with Allah through the fine arts and fine dining!

Day 2
Sunday, April 26th, 2026.
Join us for a special halaqah of exciting and funny “camfire” stories from Islamic history, a contemplative moment, a stunning sunrise, and a traditional Palestinian breakfast at the beach and hot tea for all to sip! Bring a change of clothes if you are also in for a dip and game of volley ball on the soft sand as the waves crash your feet!

Day 3
Sunday, May 3rd, 2026.
Immerse yourself in nature and the deep remembrance of God as we hike on a beautiful trail, meditate on God’s creation, and take wisdom from our scholars. We will end the final day with a BBQ! After all that food for the soul, we will surely need a little food for the body!
